Mid-November preorder update:
A quick update on where things stand: the decks have not arrived in Canada yet, but the printer is confident they will reach me within the next three weeks. They’ve also provided a tracking number for the final leg once the shipment reaches land (which I will be obsessively checking morning, noon and night).
I’m still finalizing the plan for shipping U.S. orders. I’ve been debating whether to use a U.S. fulfillment centre or ship directly from Canada, and I’m still leaning toward the fulfillment centre. However, with the current uncertainty surrounding U.S. import rates (especially given the political climate between the U.S., Canada, and China), I don’t feel comfortable committing to a shipping route until the decks are physically in my possession.
Once the decks arrive, shipping will begin in this order:
Wholesale
Patreon (Canada + non-USA)
General public orders (Canada + non-USA)
USA orders
U.S. orders will, unfortunately, experience the longest delay. This is simply because I need to make the final shipping decision after the decks arrive. If I choose the fulfillment-centre route, I’ll also need time to ship inventory to them before they can begin packing and sending out individual orders.
I know this staggered timeline isn’t ideal. Shipping to the U.S. is particularly risky right now (especially as we enter the holiday season), and I want to avoid any further financial blow after what has already been a tough setback. “Crushed” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Thank you for your patience and for all your kind emails and DMs while I navigate this. It has made this horrendous situation much more bearable.
