SHIPPING & RETURN POLICIES

Any free shipping offer covers the basic standard shipping option for your region. This offer does not apply to expedited or express shipments.
Orders are shipped with Canada Post or ChitChats unless otherwise stated. We have a 3-5 day processing time on top of shipping guidelines. We are not responsible for delays due to weather, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any updates or extended delays will be posted at the top of the home page.All orders ship once per week. Once an order has shipped and a shipping label has been created, the order is considered final and cannot be modified.
For Canadian orders, shipping occurs once per week. Delivery to Canadian addresses can take up to three weeks, and customers should allow the full timeframe before contacting us regarding delays.
For customers located in the United States, orders ship once per week. Packages are shipped from Canada via ChitChats and must be cleared by a customs broker before being handed off to USPS. This broker clearance process may add two to five business days if additional paperwork is required. Please note that tracking information does not always update between when a package is dropped off at ChitChats and when it is received by USPS. This gap in tracking is normal. Delivery to the United States can take up to eight weeks, and customers should allow the full timeframe before contacting us regarding delays.
For International orders outside of the USA, shipping also occurs once per week. Customs duties, taxes, and fees are not paid upfront and may be charged by your local customs authority upon delivery. Some international orders are routed through the Netherlands before reaching their final destination, which can add additional transit time. International delivery timelines vary depending on the destination country and customs processing. Delivery to International addresses can take up to twelve weeks, and customers should allow the full timeframe before contacting us regarding delays.
Please note that address changes are not possible once a shipping label has been purchased, even if the package has not yet entered the carrier’s system. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipping address is accurate and complete at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer will be required to pay for reshipping and any applicable customs or return fees. Orders returned due to address errors are not eligible for a refund.
Preorders & In-Stock Items
Any in-stock items purchased alongside a preorder item will ship together. If you'd like your in-stock item shipped sooner, please purchase it separately.
Tracking & Lost Mail
Tracking is standard for all deck, print, and ritual items unless Canada Post does not offer it for your country. If tracking isn’t shown at checkout, it’s not available. Orders placed without tracking are not eligible for refunds if lost. Single cards and “small packet air” do not include tracking.
We are not responsible for damages caused by Canada Post, USPS, or other national carriers. If your order arrives damaged, contact us immediately so we can file a claim.
Once your order has shipped, your tracking number is your primary source of information. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages or items marked as “delivered.”
Address Issues & Returns
Addresses cannot be changed after an order is placed. If your address changes during a preorder window, please email us at blackandthemoon@gmail.com.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, unpaid customs charges, or failure to pick it up from the post office, we will issue a product refund only—shipping costs (original or return) will not be refunded. If you'd like the item resent, a new shipping fee will apply.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically by weight. Orders cannot be bundled for a flat rate.
Cancellations & Returns
No refunds or cancellations on preorders. No exceptions.
Request a cancellation within: 12 hours of purchase.

Preorders and items marked "final sale" are not eligible for cancellations or returns.
Returns are accepted under certain conditions.
Items must be in their original shrink wrap and packaging. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Items returned due to "change of heart" will not have any shipping costs reimbursed.
Returns are at the purchaser's expense.
The item must arrive back to us in its original condition before your purchase will be refunded.
You will only receive a refund for the product cost. Shipping will not be reimbursed.

We must receive the item back within 30 days of your original shipping date (when we shipped the item to you, please check your shipping confirmation email or sms).
