Tarot Deck Blessing

I believe that all magical tools should be cleansed and blessed, and your tarot and oracle decks are no exception. I designed these small rituals you can use with your new deck, or if you want to reconnect with an older one.

1. Cleanse your deck using the method of your choice: smoke/sound/moonlight/etc
2. Flip through the deck. Take your time looking at the images and getting to know the energy it carries.
3. When ready, light a white candle and recite the following blessing/s.

After following the instructions above, recite this blessing: Asteria, Goddess of the Stars and Divination, may "I/Name" always receive clear guidance from the cards and always trust my/their intuition as the keeper of this deck.

After following the instructions above, recite this blessing: Spirits and Guides on the other side, may "I/Name" always receive clear guidance from the cards and always trust my/their intuition as the keeper of this deck.

Let the candle burn all the way down and you're done! If you want you can follow this ritual with an interview spread, or just read as you normally would.
